There is a new eating disorder movie being released. It is called "thin". It is a documentary on the lives of 4 women with eating disorders and seeking treatment.
The show examines the social impact of eating disorders. It also tries to highlight that eating disorders are not simple conditions but complex mental illnesses.
Hopefully with this new show, more attention and spotlight will be given to show the dangers of media messages that purport to depict their idea of what they consider beautiful.
