Just last week, there were two major headlines on eating disorder. A 21 year old Brazilian model died from the consequences of an eating disorder. Secondly, there was the movie debut of "thin", which examined the effects of eating disorder.
Eating disorder can cause death if early treatment or no treatment is sought. It has deep psychological impact and cause damage to health.
Plenty of support and help should be rendered to a person with an eating disorder. The effects of eating disorder should not be dismissed as trivial since they do not look life threatening initially.
